Who We Are

We love whiskers, puppy teeth, puppy breath, floppy ears, shaggy coats, puppy cuts, fur, slobbery licks, jowls, wet noses, wagging tails, barks, tug-o-war, belly rubs, fetch, the dog park, walks, jogging, playing in the snow, hunting, working, herding, chew bones, begging, tricks, puppy dreams, show dogs, designer dogs, mutts, big dogs, small dogs, skinny dogs, fat dogs, old dogs, young dogs, trained dogs, unruly dogs, all dogs and all things dog. We just love dogs.

The Founder

One summer day in 2007, down on her luck and having a bad day, Melissa Mathews went looking for her sidekick Mia's vet online. Unable to find it she realized there had to be a better way. Combining her background in tech and research with her love of dogs she found the most unexpected thing, her bliss. Since then she has put her all into creating this site for all her fellow dog lovers in New York City.
